Miss Saigon    |    May 20, 2011

Miss Saigon opens in Adelaide tonight!

After many months of rehearsals and preparations, the epic but tragic love story Miss Saigon opens in Adelaide tonight. This is the non-professional premiere of Miss Saigon in Adelaide, and Marie Clark Musical Theatre is very excited to be bringing such a challenge to the stage.

Tickets are selling very fast – there are very few left for tonight, and even less for both shows tomorrow – so if you haven’t got tickets yet, you better get in quick! Thursday night (26th May) has the best available seats still remaining, but these won’t last long.

Both the cast and crew have worked tirelessly to make this show a success, and are all dying to show you what they have to offer – both from some very well-known local performers, and new faces (brimming with talent). Don’t just hear about Miss Saigon from someone else – get along and witness it for yourself. Whether you’ve seen the show before or not, you’re bound to enjoy the version that Marie Clark Musical Theatre has put together.

Call for show submissions, 2012 – closing May 10th

Marie Clark Musical Theatre is interested in hearing from any Directors, Musical Directors or Choreographers who are looking to be involved in a show during 2012 (or beyond). An opportunity exists for seasoned directors or fresh, new talent to direct or produce a show with our company. If you have a show in mind, or a production team without a show, please get in touch with us before May 10th 2011 to ensure you are considered for our next round of decisions!

We’d love to hear about any ideas you may have, even if not fully formed. To voice your thoughts to the Marie Clark Musical Theatre committee, please get in touch with our Secretary Alison Day by contacting secretary@marieclark.asn.au as soon as possible!

Although we don’t need a full submission, please provide at least your thoughts on production teams with some possible shows and date preferences (start of the year or end of the year) by 5pm May 10th, 2011.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
